Technology
Windforce distributed small wind turbine (D-SWT) research and development focuses on every component, optimization of materials, improvement to processes, and system integration. We are working on complete system designs that push distributed small wind turbine technology to truly advanced levels. Options for foundations and towers make installation easier, and extreme rotor diameters for IEC wind classes III and IV maximize energy capture for average annual wind speeds as low as 4-5 m/s. Reliable and innovative generators, inverters, controls, and battery energy storage systems managed via Ai enable independent grid operator-level control and monitoring. Our controllers provide wide-ranging capabilities including micro-grid, hybrid wind-solar-battery, and other configurations with complex control strategies, data visualization via our SCADA software, and more.
Small Wind Turbines
Control System Technical Features

Energy Yield Optimization
Ai algorithms automatically adjust parameters and strategies to optimize energy production in all wind and environmental conditions.

Shadow Eliminator
Control software uses weather data, GPS data, and others to automatically eliminate dynamic shadow effects.

Noise Reduction
Noise reduction based on time of day and environmental conditions is built-in to our controllers to reduce noise pollution and harmful effects.

High Wind Ride-Thru
High Wind Ride-Thru keeps the turbine on-line and producing power even in extreme high wind events that would normally shut-down competitors' wind turbines.

Fire Protection
Fire protection system is built-in to our controllers and inverters, and battery energy storage systems to eliminate fire threat.

Remote Monitoring & Control
Remote monitoring and control (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition; SCADA) is built-in to our controllers and available via cloud or desktop applications.
